Senior Fluids Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fluids Supervisor to support offshore drilling operations in Suriname. The role will be responsible for supervising drilling fluids, cementing and waste management activities, providing technical support to the Drilling Supervisor, and ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of operations.

Job Description

• Supervise all rig-site drilling fluids, cementing, mud displacement and related operations.
• Provide technical fluids and cementing support to the Drilling Supervisor and Drilling & Wells team.
• Prepare and follow up Fluids and Cement Programs, logistics plans and end-of-well reports.
• Ensure quality control of drilling fluids, cementing services and waste management activities.
• Monitor chemical, bulk, equipment and materials requirements and ensure timely logistics.
• Supervise and coordinate fluids, cementing, solids control and waste management service companies.
• Monitor service quality, costs and operational performance; identify and address deviations.
• Report equipment failures, non-conformities and operational issues.
• Ensure waste management activities comply with applicable environmental requirements and company standards.
• Promote HSE objectives and ensure compliance with statutory and company QHSE requirements.
• Prepare daily reports covering fluids, cement and waste management operations.
• Share lessons learned and operational feedback with the wider Drilling & Wells team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical/operational qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of offshore experience in drilling fluids and cementing.
• Deepwater drilling experience required.
• Strong operational knowledge of drilling fluids, cementing and waste management.
• Experience supervising offshore service companies and coordinating multiple interfaces.
• Good understanding of HSE, environmental and quality requirements in offshore drilling operations.
• Familiarity with TotalEnergies’ standards, processes and technical referentials is an advantage.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work a 4/4 offshore rotation, 12 hours per day, 7 days per week while on rotation.
• Willingness and ability to work offshore in Suriname.

Additional Information

Location: Suriname, with offshore assignments as required
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Working Schedule: 7 days per week, 8 hours per day
Contract Duration: Minimum 2 years
