The client, a major industrial group, was responsible for manufacturing and assembling electrical equipment for a large energy infrastructure project in Azerbaïdjan. The fabrication phase was conducted in South Korea, followed by pre-assembly in Singapore, and final installation at site in Azerbaïdjan.
The main challenges included identifying and deploying specialized supervisors and engineers for the South Korean fabrication phase, ensuring compliance with local employment and tax laws, and managing all HR and invoicing processes on behalf of the client. Because the client did not have a legal entity in South Korea, IOTA was entrusted to issue invoices locally and ensure financial compliance with Korean regulations.
