For one of the world’s major technology infrastructure operators, our client was responsible for building and commissioning large-scale data centers in Belgium. The project required highly skilled technical experts, engineers, supervisors, and technicians, specialized in automation, installation, and commissioning of critical electrical and mechanical systems.
The challenge was to rapidly identify and deploy dozens of qualified professionals from various European countries while ensuring their work in Belgium was fully compliant with local labor and safety regulations. Unlike traditional local recruitment, this project involved continuous rotations, with up to 60 professionals working under IOTA’s framework between 2018 and today.
Compliance with Belgium’s administrative requirements, including DIMONA (mandatory declaration of employment for all workers in Belgium) and LIMOSA (notification for foreign workers temporarily assigned to Belgium), was essential to ensure each consultant’s legal status, insurance coverage, and social security contributions. The client also required strong logistical support, from onboarding and travel to payroll and repatriation, as well as centralized management of all contracts and certifications.
